On inland waters

This could include trips on local lakes, rivers and canals as well as in Cumbria, Wales and Scotland.

On the Sea

The rules are much stricter! A Level 3 sea coach qualification is required – events are put on during the year by the Expedition kayak group - see programme

To include boat/paddle/spray deck  etc. £5 per day per single kayak and £10 for a double kayak. All equipment is available on a trailer. The hire fees will all go back into maintaining and insuring the kayaks and their equipment
